Ndidi Loses In 26th Start For Leicester City

Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi could not save his side from going down in a scandalous defeat away to Manchester City, on an evening he made his 26th start for The Foxes.

It turned out to be a sordid evening for Ndidi and his side, as they lost 5-1 away to City, and he was yellow carded in the 71st minute of the encounter.

In the English Championship, Super Eagles defender Ola Aina played all 90 minutes for Hull City who beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 to earn a first league win in 10 matches and climb out of the relegation zone.

The game was Aina’s 28th appearance in the English Championship this season for Hull City.

Sone Aluko played all of Reading’s 2-1 loss away to Middlesbrough on Saturday. Aluko has made 29 Championship appearances this season, scoring one goals and providing four assists.

In the German Bundesliga, Anthony Ujah was an unused substitute for FSV Mainz who lost 4-2 to Hoffenheim. Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun started the match and was yellow carded in the 87th minute.

Balogun has made nine appearances this season in all competitions, while Ujah who is in his second spell at the club, has made two substitute appearance.

In Turkey, Aminu Umar saw 90 minutes of action for Osmanlispor who played out a 3-3 draw away to Goztepe.

His compatriot, Raheem Lawal, replaced Ceyhun Gulselam at the start of the second half for his 16th appearance this season for Osmanlispor while Umar who provided an assist has made 22 appearances.
