Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi is bound to return from injury stronger than ever, as the youngster has disclosed that he is relying on a lot of ‘solar power’ to aid his recovery process.
The former Racing Genk of Belgium defender-turned-holding midfielder disclosed as much in a special message to his fans, as he posted a photograph of himself in rehabilitation steps and added that he did all the drills under the sun.
The recovery process comes after Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury in Leicester’s 5-0 loss to Crystal Palace a fortnight ago.
He was replaced in the 57th minute of the defeat. Ndidi also missed the Foxes’ 2-0 loss at home to West Ham last Saturday.
The 21-year-old star, however, took to social media to show he is storming back faster than expected, and posted a picture of himself undergoing physical training in the sun.
“A sunny day to recuperate,” wrote Ndidi, who has made 33 league appearances for the Foxes this season with four assists.
