Super Eagles enforcer Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi has been ruled out of the game between Nigeria and South Africa on 17th November in Johannesburg, reports Footballlive.ng.
This is a result of accumulation of cards by the Leicester City central midfielder.
Ndidi picked up a booking in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya in Sfax last night, which Nigeria won 3-2.
The result pushed Nigeria to the summit of Group E with nine points from a possible 12, but that comes with a prise as the Lagos Junior League product won’t feature in the all important test with South Africa.
Next up for the Super Eagles is a potentially–explosive duel with Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a top-of-the-table clash at Johannesburg’s Soccer City on 17th November.
