Ndidi salvage late draw for Leicester City

Date:

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi netted a late goal as Leicester City forced 10-man West Ham United to a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.

The Hammers shocked the hosts at the half hour mark to take the lead. Fabian Balbuena headed onto the post and then scored from the rebound.

In the 38th minutes, the Hammers were reduced to 10 men as Mark Noble caught Ndidi with his studs.

Harry Maguire got up brilliantly for a corner but headed onto the woodwork with 22 minutes left to play.

A big deflection off Ndidi’s strike in the 88th minute put Leicester City on level terms.

Another Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho featured for 61 minutes before making way for Demarai Gray.
