Leicester City’s Nigerian duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were both among The Foxes’ goals scorers on Saturday, as the former English Premier League champions won 5-1 away to Peterborough United in the FA Cup.
Iheanacho repeated his double strike of the previous round to put Leicester on course for a famous away win, while Ndidi wrapped it all up with the cul de grace in added time.
Iheanacho now has nine goals in nine games in the FA Cup, as his brace inspired Leicester’s rout of their English League One opponents.
The former Manchester City star seized on a misplaced pass to net his first before volleying home Christian Fuch’s pinpoint cross.
Malian forward Fousseni Diabate also scored twice on his Foxes debut, as the Foxes made it six games unbeaten.
Posh’s Andrew Hughes scored after the break to make 3-1 but Diabate got his second and Wilfred Ndidi added a fifth in the 92nd minute.
