A close pal of Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi at Leicester City of England, Harry Maguire has served the club notice of his plans on making an exit from the team.
Footballive.ng gathered that Ndidi could be on the verge of being without his favourite colleague this summer, as Maguire has cast doubt on his future at King Power stadium.
This comes after Ndidi’s friend, who came close to joining Manchester United last summer, disclosed that he appreciates the breakthrough he got from the club, but he wants to try out elsewhere.
He acknowledged the great moment has has enjoyed with the team, and the spotlight that earned him a spot in England’s squad to Russia 2018, but says he is aiming higher for his career to grow.
Ndidi’s pal stated: “Leicester gave me a great platform to go and play at a World Cup. If it weren’t for them I maybe wouldn’t have done.
“So repaying them is important. There was no doubt in my mind I was going to be loyal and start the season with Leicester.
“Every young player wants to play at the top level. I take everything step by step and concentrate game by game and see where it takes me.
“Leicester are a club on the up and we’ll see where they go and we’ll see where I go.”
