Ndidi’s Value Slumps, But Still Nigeria’s Most Valuable

Date:

Despite taking a slump in value, Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi remains Nigeria’s costliest player of the current dispensation, ahead of Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses.

Information reaching foobtalllive.ng reveals that Ndidi saw his value slump from €68.3m to €62.3m within four months, but he is still ahead of second placed Arsenal star, Iwobi and Chelsea’s Moses.

The latest figures show that Iwobi has overtaken Moses as the second most valuable Nigerian player on the cards of the CIES Observatory.

After signing a new contract that will keep him at Arsenal until 2022, Iwobi is now valued at €38.3m, with an increase of €4m in four months.

On the other hand, Moses has seen his stock dwindle following his lack of first team spots with Chelsea so far this season and premature retirement from the Super Eagles.

In November 2017, Moses, whose contract at Chelsea runs till June 2021, was valued at €45.1m, but is now worth €30.4m.
