New Enyimba International Striker, Sunday Adetunji Looking To Score On Debut

On Loan Abia Warriors Striker, Sunday Adetunji who has made a full recovery following a fractured hand toward the end of the previous season is eagerly hoping to make a scoring debut for Enyimba International in Mali.

Speaking to www.footballive.ng after making the 18 man list to feature against Malian Giant on Sunday, he said, “I am very delighted to have made the 18-Man travel squad going to Mali for the all important penultimate group stage clash against Djoliba SC on Sunday.”

The former Shooting Stars player went on to express his eagerness to put on the colors of the People’s Elephant as he hoped to repay the faith shown in him by the club’s management with a goal scoring debut.

On what was driving him ahead of the all important game, Sunday told *footballlive, “I hope to score a goal if I get a chance to feature on Sunday and also to give my all to ensure that the team’s leaves Mali with a tangible result.”

He concluded by thanking the Managements of Abia Warriors and Enyimba International for the opportunity afforded him to feature at such high level even as he promised the fans to always give his best for the team.
