NFF Appoints Justin Madugu as Super Falcons Interim Coach

Date:

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Justin Madugu as the interim head coach of the Super Falcons, following the exit of former coach Randy Waldrum.

Madugu steps in to oversee the team and the technical staff until a permanent head coach is appointed.

The decision was confirmed after the NFF’s Executive Committee approved a recommendation by its Technical and Development Sub-Committee for Justin Madugu to lead the team.

Under his leadership, the Super Falcons will begin preparations for the Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to take place next summer in Morocco.

Madugu’s task will be to guide the team through the transitional period as they look ahead to the tournament following the ladies poor performance in the recently concluded Paris 2023 Olympics.
