Following investigations into the bribery allegations levelled against Super Eagles Chief Coach, Salisu Yusuf, the NFF Ethics Committee have banned the coach from any football related activities for a period of one year starting from the day the video was released.
Thus, Coach Salisu will automatically get pulled out of the National Team setup for a period of one year and won’t also be able to coach any football club in the Country.
Coach Salisu who as served in the capacity of Super Eagles Chief Coach under at least two different Technical Advisers would now be forced to take an enforced year long sabbatical from participating in the beautiful game.
High points of his career include, an FA Cup win with Enyimba International of Aba, 2017 WAFU Cup Silver Medal with CHAN Eagles and another Silver Medal at the Morocco 2018 CHAN Championship.
