NFF Plan 98-member Delegation To South Africa

Date:

Nigeria is set to storm Johannesburg, South Africa with a delegation of 98 people aboard a chartered aircraft, according to information reaching footballlive.ng from credible sources.

The report indicates that officials of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have started collating names of everyone who is likely to board the flight to The Rainbow Nation on Thursday evening.

However, in contrast with initial reports that the aircraft will take off from the Delta State capital, Asaba, where the Eagles are camped, it has now been gathered that it will indeed fly out of from nearby Benin City.

Officials explained that the airport in Benin City has better facilities and a bigger side to ensure a safe take off for the Max Air chartered flight, which is expected to bear 98 people directly to Johannesburg.

The same aircraft will then ferry the delegation back home immediately after the match on Saturday, as the Eagles will quickly return to Asaba to prepare for an international friendly against Uganda billed for Tuesday.
