NFF Seek Croatia, Iceland, Argentina Match Videos, Data

Date:

The technical committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have stepped up efforts to acquire video recordings of past and recent matches of the Super Eagles’ 2018 World Cup group opponents, Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.

Aside efforts to get playback shots of all Group D rivals heading into the World Cup, the committee has also stepped up plans to provide a detailed dossier of all the teams and their players for Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr.

A credible source disclosed that the dossier will include video clips of all Nigeria’s Group D opponents as well as facts, statistics, figures and data about the coaches’ tactics and skills of their players.

The source stated: “We are leaving no stone unturned in our concerted effort to ensure that Super Eagles do well in Russia.

“We have all the information on our group opponents and we’ll hand them over to coach Gernot Rohr in Calabar for him to work on.

“These are additional information to earlier ones we had given him about Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.

“The information includes each player and team analysis, videos and expert reports. These will help our coach to know how to deal with each of our three group opponents.

“We are giving the technical crew and the players all they require to excel in Russia. We really believe that this team have what it takes to cause some upset in Russia. That is why we are giving them everything to qualify from the group.”
