The Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, has been appointed as the match commissioner for the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final second-leg fixture between Dreams FC of Ghana and Egypt’s Zamalek.
Also, Chukwudi Callistus Chukwujekwu, another Nigerian, will fill in for the role of referee assessor for the crucial clash.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana, on Sunday. Dreams FC, in their debut appearance in the competition, held Zamalek to a goalless draw in the first leg in Cairo last weekend.
Dreams FC has an unbeaten record at home in the competition, with three wins and a draw. However, a win is needed in this clash to secure a spot in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
However, a score draw would see Zamalek advance to the final on the away-goal rule, intensifying the stakes for both teams.
