Niger Tornadoes’ Impressive Form Due to Motivation and Team Support -Majin Mohammed

Date:

Majin Mohammed, the Interim head coach of Niger Tornadoes, attributes the team’s recent success in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) to the strong motivation provided by the club, as well as the unwavering support from various stakeholders.

The Ikon Allah Boys have indeed been on a remarkable run, clinching victory in their last three consecutive NPFL matches. Their most recent triumph was a commanding 5-0 win against Gombe United at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna. This impressive performance has propelled them out of the relegation zone, with the team currently holding the ninth position in the league table, amassing 39 points from 29 games.

In a statement to the club’s media, Coach Mohammed emphasized the importance of team spirit and readiness among the players. He also acknowledged the significant role played by the club’s management, the support of Nigerlites, and the backing of the state government. According to Mohammed, this collective support and motivation have been instrumental in driving the team’s positive momentum and success on the field.

“First of all, we give glory to God for this feat,” he told the club’s media.

“Well, the secret is just that, the boys are in good shape and are ready to go, then aside that, motivation from the management and the support of Nigerlites, not forgetting the state government under the leadership of Governor Umar Mohammed Bago, which has been of tremendous support to the team, that is what is moving the boys.”

Looking ahead, Niger Tornadoes are gearing up to face Akwa United in their next NPFL fixture.
