Former Viking striker Suleiman Abdullahi scored a magnificent goal for Union Berlin as they drew 2-2 with Hamburger SV in the German Bundesliga 2 on Monday night.
Abdullahi, 21, scored in the 90th minute for his first goal of the season in the colours of Die Eisernen.
Before registering his name on the score-sheet, the ex Flying Eagles striker had been involved in most of the positive moves of the visitors at the Volksparkstadion (Hamburg).
“It was a good game for us and we worked as a team and got the result. For My goal, I think its just another prove of hardwork. It’s my first of the campaign and I hope to score more as the season roll on,” he told Footballlive.ng.
“My target is to score at least 10 goals and secure promotion ticket for Union Berlin at the end of the season.”
Union Berlin are third on the Bundesliga 2 standings with 24 points from 14 games.
