Nigeria-eligible midfielder Philip Billing is Huddersfield Town’s lowest-earning player per minute played in the English Premier League.
The Denmark U21 international earns £15,000 a week and has pocketed 204 pounds for every minute he has played in the top flight this season.
He has been involved in 22 games for the Terriers and has logged 1,910 minutes, scoring two goals.
It has been suggested that Billing’s six-year association with Huddersfield Town is expected to end this summer if the Kirklees Stadium outfit is relegated from the Premier League.
The central midfielder penned a contract extension with the Terriers in August 2017 which will run until 2020, with an option for a further year inserted into the deal.
Barring an injury, he is expected to show off to potential suitors at this summer’s UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
The long throw specialist turned out for the youth teams of Jerne IF and Esbjerg before moving to England in 2013.
