Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has said that Nigeria will be playing to win when they face Libya in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday
A win against the current Group E leaders would revive Nigeria’s hope to qualify for the next AFCON in Cameroon.
However, the Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder told Footballlive.ng: “It is a significant game but we are going out to win it. Two wins from these two matches would be really satisfying.
“We are first and third in the group at the minute. I don’t see Seychelles causing an upset over the two legs against South Africa. That means we have to beat Libya home and away ahead of the day 5 game in South Africa.
“We know the job we have to do. As long as we all work hard and play our football in the right way, we can get the job done.”
Nigeria currently sit one point behind Libya in Group E.
