Defending champions Nigeria and host Ghana have been seeded in the draw for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
Ghana are seeded in Group A with position A1, while Nigeria’s Super Falcons, in Group B are seeded B1; by virtue of being holders. The event is scheduled to begin by 6pm.
The Super Falcons is the most successful team in the history of the competition, having won it eight times.
Accra and Cape Coast will be the host cities of the biennial competition which holds from November 17 to December 1, 2018.
This AWCON will also serve as the African qualifiers to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup with the top three teams getting automatic qualification for the tournament in in France.
