Nigeria striker Pyagbara joins Avenir Sportif de Gabès

Date:

Striker Christian Pyagbara has joined Tunisian Ligue 1 club Avenir Sportif de Gabès on a two-year contract from Enugu Rangers as part of the Gabès club’s quest to strengthen their forward line for the new season.

The 22-year-old forward featured for the Flying Eagles in the 2015 Total U20 Nations Cup, which Nigeria won in Senegal.
Pyagbara made his name at Sharks, Enyimba, Akwa United and Enugu Rangers.
“I have no idea about the Tunisia football but I know it is a fantastic country. I am happy to have come here to join Avenir Sportif de Gabès,” he said to Footballlive.ng when signing the two-year deal on Tuesday.
Avenir Sportif de Gabès finished 10th in the Ligue 1 last season after being threatened with relegation early in the campaign.
