Nigeria youngster Continues Rehabilitation From Injury

Date:

Leicester City youngster, Layton Ndukwu missed out on the chance of joining The Foxes’ senior squad for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers, as he is still in the process of recovering from a recent injury.

Before he copped a knock three weeks back, Ndukwu had been tipped to make a strong impact at Leicester in most Cup games this season, but his recover process has not moved fast enough to aid his course.

Reports reaching footballlive.ng now indicate that Ndukwu will have to step up his recovery process in order to live the dream season that had been predicted for him, having missed Tuesday’s third round fixture of the Carabao Cup.

He had been tipped to make his first team breakthrough this season after he was named in the main squad against Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the past campaign.

Sadly, Ndukwu also missed The Foxes’ under-23 side’s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday due to the injury.

The 20-year-old fast-rising youngster has not figured for Leicester in the Premier League 2 in over three weeks, with his last outing being against Derby County on September 3.
