Finland-based Nigerian youngster, Felix Orishani has gained fresh words of praise from his coach at lower division side, AC Ouliu, Mika Lahderinne, who has tagged the former OPS and Assi IF battler as a ‘defensive spider,’ due to his magnificent form with the team.
Orishani, who grew up in Okoko area of Lagos, continues making waves with Oulu, which he joined on January 24 from OPS, such that Lahderinne cannot stop showering accolades on the 24-year-old fast-rising midfielder.
Orishani has already made top marks with full 90 minutes in all 24 matches he has played for Oulu, plus a goal to show for his efforts, such that his coach’s rating cannot be controverted.
T6hough he also has a yellow card to his name this season, Oulu’s rave of the moment has brought in immense experience from playing in Finland’s top-flight, with tremendous marks to show, which make him understandably one of Lahderinne’s favourites.
He has also been rated among the top ten best defensive midfielders in the Scandinavian country, where the lad in jersey No.6 has a ratio of 88 minutes per match.
Consequently, Lahderinne, who clocked 38 years on Tuesday, is relishing having Orishani in his team, which the Finnish ex-international also joined on January 1 from KuPS, after a stint with Pallo-Kerho 37.
With Lahderinne showing so much trust in Orishani, the Nigerian youngster is aiming to justify his coach’s confidence and rating of his ability, as he seeks to make the best of his contract that will run till New Year’s Eve, December 31st.
“I am really grateful for how my coach has received me and inspired me in the team. He got to the club before me, but has trusted me since my arrival, and I owe him a lot.
“The best way for me to show how grateful I am is to keep playing well and to avoid anything that may make me lose my position in the team,” said dark-skinned Orishani.
