Nigerian Fans Get Invite For U-20 World Cup Tickets

Nigerian soccer fans will from the 26th of February have opportunities of getting match tickets to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, footballlive.ng reports.

With the Nigerian team, Flying Eagles haven already qualified for the championship, after sealing a semi-final spot at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Niger Republic, their fans would be glad to know details about getting tickets for the squad’s matches.

 

The sale of tickets for Nigeria’s matches and others form the latest base of information flowing ahead of Poland 2019, which is set to begin on May 23, as supporters will once again be able to catch a glimpse of the world’s most talented young players of the future.

The draw will take place on February 24 in Gdynia, after which Visa card holders will have an exclusive opportunity to secure their tickets during the pre-sale phase from February 26 until March 5.

Fans will also be able to apply for tickets from March 7 until the final on June 15, during which time they would be able to receive all their tickets electronically and be able to print them at home in A4 format.

FIFA stated: “Tickets for the first-ever FIFA competition to be hosted on Polish soil will be available on 26 February in two categories and start at PLN 10.

“The only official platform on which to secure these tickets will be FIFA.com/tickets/U20WC.”

Poland Football Association president, Zbigniew Boniek added: “The FIFA U-20 World Cup is one of the largest football events in the world.

“It was during those tournaments that the world became aware of such names as Messi, Maradona, Iniesta, Griezmann, Salah and Pique.

“We want the stands of our stadiums to be filled with fans. Attractive ticket prices will surely contribute to a high attendance.

“We will be hosting the official draw ceremony in Gdynia, and ticket sales is due to kick off soon afterwards.

“We encourage all fans to mark the dates of the tournament in their calendars and before that, of course, go ahead and buy tickets.”
