Nigerian midfielder and Lazio new signing, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has immediately sprung into life in Rome. La Aquilotti recorded a resounding 23-0 victory over CS Auronzo in a preseason friendly game.
The midfielder recently transferred from Hatayaspor on loan, with the Italian side obliged to make the move permanent in 2025, a deal totaling about 7 million euros.
The 23 year old midfielder was a part of the second half squad, one of the 11 halftime changes made by Marco Baroni with the score already 8-0 after the first 45. Fisayo required just 19 minutes of play to record his first goal for his new side, scoring in the 64th minute. He proceeded to grab another goal in the 75th minute.
The Nigerian would also grab an assist, making it three goal involvements in his first game for his new club. The friendly signals a good start to life for the midfielder, who is set to be at Lazio for the next 4 years.
