Nigerian Youngster Secures Zurich Move

Nigerian youngster, Umeh Emmanuel has secured a move to Swiss side, FC Zurich. The 19 year old forward is set for another top flight stint in Europe after playing for Botev Plovdiv, where he had been for the past two years after transferring from Russian club FDC Vista.

 

Umeh made 40 appearances for the Bulgarian side between 2022 & 2024, scoring 8 times. He had also previously represented the Nigeria U20 team at the 2023 FIFA U20 world cup in Argentian, where he also contributed two assists to a run that was ended by South Korea in the quarter finals of the tourney.

 

The youngster has now secured a 5 year deal with Zurich, and will now continue his journey in Switzerland.
