Bayelsa United’s newly appointed head coach, Ladan Bosso, has been charged with the goal of securing a continental ticket for the club.
The former Super Eagles coach was brought in following Bayelsa United’s disappointing performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season, where they narrowly avoided relegation.
Bayelsa State Sports Commissioner, Daniel Igali, outlined the expectations for Bosso, stating, “You are an accomplished coach, and we expect you to get us continental football next year.”
This will mark the second time Ladan Bosso will take charge of the Yenagoa Club.
The 56-year-old previously managed the team in 2012, leading them to a third-place finish in the NPFL.
