NPFL: My experience will help El Kanemi Warriors win the league this season. – Mohammed Babaganaru

Date:

El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri head coach Mohammed Babaganaru has stated that with his experience and exposure in the Nigeria Professional Football League he is confident his team will make the Super Six at the end of the season and is certain they can win the 2018/2019 league.

The Maiduguri based football outfit is currently second on the table in Group B of the abridged league behind log leaders FC Ifeanyi Ubah three points behind the leaders and one point ahead of third place Abia Warriors on 14 points.

Coach Babaganaru who had previously won the NPFL with Kano Pillars said his experience will come to play in the fight for the top trophy. “I have won the league before, I have the experience and I know what it takes to win it. Firstly we want to do our possible best to qualify for the Super Six for now. Then before we go to play the Super Six, we will then refocus our ambition.”

El Kanemi Warriors have won five games so far this season losing four times. The team started on a bright note beating Akwa United by a lone goal at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium in Uyo away from home in their first match of the season.
