The Nigeria Premier Football League has announced the rescheduling of the matchday 21 fixture between Rivers United and Remo Stars. Originally postponed due to Rivers United’s CAF Confederation Cup commitments, the game is now set to take place on Sunday, May 5.
Davidson Owumi, the NPFL chief operating officer, confirmed this adjustment in a memo sent to both clubs. The match is scheduled to be held at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Rivers United enter the match in good form, having remained unbeaten in their last four league games. Their recent 2-0 victory over Katsina United has propelled them to 12th position on the league table.
