After an exciting midweek in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Footballlive.ng’s Ademetan Abayomi picks the best XI from Week 10.
Victor Sochima [Kada City]
The keeper saved the day for Kada City with a number of outstanding saves. Dominant.
Innocent Gabriel [Elkanemi Warriors]
He put up a great shift and crowned it with a goal. Influential.
Festus Austin [Rivers United]
Austin was ahead of the game throughout making interceptions, blocks and setting up a couple of attacks. Always aware of any menace from Bendel Insurance. Responsive.
Adeleke Adekunle [Go Round]
Adekunle read the game very well and was a calming influence for Go Round who shocked Gombe United 0-1 at the Pantami Stadium. Intelligent.
Sadiq Suleiman [Kada City]
Always busy upfront. He netted the winner. Continued to cause problems and ruled his territory. Commanding.
Yaya Kone [Lobi Stars]
Won the game with his brace either side of Lobi Stars’ goal. Always alert to a chance. Effective.
Afees Nosiru [Kwara United]
Another all-action display by the midfielder who trod where angels dare not, with his goal a perfect example of this determined attitude. Powerful.
Henry Ochuba [Go Round]
Ochuba drove home a volley to silence Gombe United fans. Controlled the midfield and menaced in the opposition area on several occasions. Tricky.
Ozor Philip [Kada City]
Showed how mobile he was with brilliant passes and silky moves. He provided the assist for Suleiman’s strike.
Michael Uchebo [Enugu Rangers]
The big man scored a well-deserved goal and set up Godwin Aguda. He led the line perfectly with a belligerent attitude towards the Wikki Tourists defenders. Galvanising.
Adeniji Kabir [MFM FC]
After threatening on several occasions the young hotshot eventually added another goal to his tally. He has now scored four goals for the Olukoya Boys. Inspiring.
