NPFL: Win a reward for hard work

Date:

Sadiq Suleiman believes that Kada City’s 1-0 win over Plateau United is reward for their hard work recently in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Kaduna based side have endured a tough campaign so far, but pipped the Peace Boys at the New Jos Stadium on Wednesday afternoon thanks to Suleiman’s 83rd minute winner.

“I have always had the perception that football is fair,” he told Footballlive.ng. “So at the start of the season maybe we could have had more points.

“But perhaps the points we generated were just. But this result now is a reward for our work.

“I want to dedicate the victory to the fans. We showed our potential here and I hope it continues.

“Despite the result it wasn’t an easy game – Plateau United worked right until the end.”
