Rivers United captain, Nyima Nwagua has days the team will be banking on the support and prayers of fans ahead of the crucial CAF Confederation Cup match against Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso.

The match is scheduled for the Stade Municipal in Yamoussoukro this Sunday.

Nwagua assured that the players are fully prepared for the upcoming encounter.

However, he emphasized the importance of fans’ support, hoping it will boost the team’s chances of success in the competition.

“All we need now is the prayer and support of the fans,” Nwagua said.

“We are fully ready for the game and the prayer will see us through in Cote d’Ivoire.

“We will try to do our best to deliver,” he assured the fans of the club.
