Nwakaeme Thanks Trabzonspor For Summer Transsfer
New arrival at Trabzonspor of Turkey, Anthony Nwakaeme has sent a thank you message to the club for signing him this summer from Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel, and says he is ready to justify their trust in him.

Nwakaeme recounted that he was Trabzon, where he acknowledged that he was thrilled with the reception he got on arrival and was equally excited to see the huge athmosphere created by the fans during last weekend’s match.

As the former Vejle Football Academy player settles down to life alongside Nigerian compatriot, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi at the club, Nwakaeme said he was happy to pen a two-year contract at Senol Günes Stadium.

The 29-year-old all-action striker, who moved to Be’er Sheva in 2015, after which he went on to win three straight Israeli Premier League titles and emerged best player in 2016 will aim to justify his one million euro transfer fee, till June 2020, with option of a third year.

Nwakaeme said: ”Trabzonspor thank you very much for giving me the chance to play here. I feel very happy to be here, to be part of this team.

”I see that the team has a great ambition to be successful. This situation is very motivating for me as a player.

“The atmosphere I saw in the first game was great, the fans were great, everything was very good. I saw them as very good people, really everything was perfect. ”
