Former Manchester City youth team fringe player, Chidiebere Nwakali has stepped up his personal training routine, as he seeks to convince top clubs across Europe for a deal in January, footballlive.ng has learnt.
Nwakali, who played on loan in Holland and Spain from Man City, before he finally sealed a full contract at Poland second division side, Rakow Czestochowa in August, only to leave by mutual consent last month.
During his five-year contract with City, Nwakali failed to make the grade at senior level, but had loan spells in Spain, Norway and Scotland before his permanent move to Rakow, which surprisingly crashed so early.
The older of two Nwakali brothers, who are both midfielders and ex-youth internationals, cited family issues for his decision to move on.
Since then, Nwakali has received offers from modest clubs in Belgium, Netherlands and Germany, but his lack of game time since leaving Rakow has been forwarded as a possible obstacle.
However, in a bold effort to get over any possible loopholes in his search for a deal next month, Nwakali has stepped up personal training, with a view towards standing in good stead to overcome any test on his way.
