Arsenal of England youth team player, Kelechi Nwakali has found a hurdle in the path of his expected summer move to FC Porto of Portugal, as both clubs are said to be in disagreement over several portions of their expected deal.
Though Nwakali flew out to Oporto last weekend, in order to shore up the agreement, latest information from Iberia indicates that he will not have a speedy resolution to the talks, as financial terms regarding his salaries are still being worked out.
It was also gathered that Arsenal are keen on having an option to extend his contract with the EPL club, as he will be left with two years to run on his deal at the end of next season.
Nwakali was expected to have a medical with the Portuguese team yesterday but final details of the move are still being ironed out, hence the move has been put on hold.
However, the youngster said he would be happy to finally join the club that currently have six Nigerians on their payroll – Mikel Ndubuisi Agu, Chidozie Awaziem, Musa Yahaya, Chidera Ezeh, Isah Musa and Kingsley Kuku.
