Turkish lower division side, Eskisehirspor have commenced efforts to snatch former Super Eagles attacker, Chinedu Obasi (Edu) in an ambitious summer swoop.
Onbase has been in a tough battle to revive his career, after injuries wrecked his surge at Schalke 04 of Germany, but he might be forced to settle for action in the Turkish 1. League with Eskisehirspor.
The once vibrant player, who has also played for Lyn Oslo of Norway and TSG Hoffenheim of Germany, is now in talks with Eskisehirspor over a possible summer move.
This comes despite him getting a short term deal with English Championship club, Bolton Wanderers last term, after he was released by AIK of Sweden, when his contract with the Scandinavian club ran out at the end of the past season.
