Serie A outfit, Chievo Verona have completed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder Joel Chukwuma Obi from Torino.
The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Lorenzo Danna’s side.
According to a statement published on the Twitter Handle of Chievo Verona, Obi officially signed for the Flying Donkeys on Saturday.
“Joel Obi arrives outright from the @TorinoFC_1906 with contract expiring on 30/06/2021 with option at 2022! Welcome Joel! ????????.”
His current contract with Torino was due to expire at the end of the 2018/19 season and he underwent a medical today. The former Inter Milan man has chosen to wear shirt Number 22 for Chievo this term.
Since moving to Torino in 2015, he scored six goals in 52 Serie A appearances.
