Top of the lot had to be Jonathan Obika, who scored twice for Oxford United in their 5-1 thrashing of Longford Town.
Obika doubled his side’s advantage after 24 minutes, when he connected a pass from Shandon Baptiste to roll home and struck again 13 minutes after the break to make it 4-1.
Elsewhere, Chelsea trialist, Victor Adeboyejo was on song for Barnsley in a 7-1 rout of Yorkshire rivals, York City.
With Barnsley already 3-1 up after the restart, Adeboyejo, who was introduced at the end of the first half, knocked home another goal after he was played in by George Moncur.
Same evening, Deji Oshilaja opened scoring for Wimbledon in a 3-1 victory over Woking, as the defender connected with a Mitch Pinnock’s cross to beat the opposing goalkeeper, Sam Mason with a piercing header on three minutes.
Former Tottenham youth teamer, Emmanuel Sonupe got the opening goal for Stevenage in a 3-1 win over St. Albans.
He struck after five minutes, following a daring run through Alban’s back-four and past the keeper before slotting into an empty net.
