New arrival at HNK Gorica of Croatia, Godfrey Oboabona has confessed that he is seeking a career revival with the club, as he aims to get back into international spotlight once again.
After finding his days with Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia unceremoniously cut short, the former Super Eagles defender is of a view that playing for Gorica will help relaunch his career.
Consequently, footballlive.ng learnt that Oboabona will commence begin training Gorica next week, after joining the East European team on a free transfer.
The former Sunshine Stars of Akure captain was released by AlAhli, but insists it is not the end of his career abroad.
Rather than feel disillusioned by recent setbacks beclouding his career, Oboabona said he is excited about the challenge facing him in Croatia and the chance to restart his career.
“I will start training with the team next week and hopefully feature for the first time too. I’m just happy to be here and hope to restart my career with them,” Oboabona disclosed.
