FC Zürich striker Stephen Odey has reflected on his match-winning strike that defeated Luzern, reflecting that he tried his luck.
It was a lifeless game in the first half, but the former MFM FC striker’s goal settled matters in notable fashion.
“It was a nice goal with a beautiful end result. The most important thing is the three points, we were very strong and we won the game,” the striker enthused to Footballlive.ng.
“I saw the ball and right away I just wanted to score.
“In the end it went well, this is a victory achieved by the whole team and you have to give a 10 to everyone.
“It is true that the game could have ended goalless. The match was decided by a single action, I took the ball, tried my best and it turned out well. On a personal level I am very pleased.”
