FC Zurich of Switzerland striker, Stephen Odey is happy with the goals scoring form he has enacted with his club so early in the season, but said he is hungry to do more for his club and get better with each passing game.
Following his brace of goals in the Swiss Cup last weekend, Odey’s total haul so far is now three in four matches, but the former Mount ain of Fire & Miracles Ministry (MFM) FC of Lagos hitman says is eager to achieve more.
The 20-year-old forward has already surpassed his total goal haul last season in just four matches, as he struck two in helping Zurich beat Concordia Basel 6-0 in the round of 64 of the Swiss Cup last weekend.
Odey, who had also earlier scored on the opening day of the Swiss Super League, said he is delighted with his form and hopes to score more, as FC Zürich hope to retain the Swiss Cup at the end of the season.
He posted on social media: “Super excited after scoring my first brace for my team against FC Concordia Basel in the Swiss Cup. It’s now three goals in four games; still hungry for more though and it can only get better.”
