Katsina United striker Ebenezer Odeyemi says the race for the 2018 Nigeria Professional Football League title is still wide open.
After 24 rounds of NPFL matches, the Changi Boys are on seventh position on the log, seven points adrift of leaders Lobi Stars.
Despite his side having 14 more games to play, Odeyemi says the race for the NPFL title is still wide open predicting twists and turns in the race.
“This title race is a marathon, the race for the title is still wide open, all teams will face different challenges in the remaining games,” the bulky striker revealed to Footballlive.ng.
“We respect our opponents but aren’t afraid of them. If we pick as many points at home and away anything can happen.
“Some seasons back Arsenal led Manchester United with more than 9 points at the home stretch but still lost out in the title race to the Red Devils. I hope we can show such stuff in the NPFL this term.”
