The Super Eagles goal talismanic, Odion Ighalo has caught the interest of the English Premier League club Southampton.
Ighalo who was the pride of his team with his many goals during the season, could not actually save his team from hitting the relegated tunnel.
Ighalo obviously made it known that he is bent on leaving his club side Changchun Yatai following their relegation from the Chinese Super League (CSL).
Benin born players scored 21 goals in 28 games for the club last season, but it was not enough to keep them up.
It is rumoured that several Turkish clubs are also jostling for him to sign the dotted lines of their contract agreement.
Ighalo previously plied his trade at Watford in England’s top-flight before leaving for China town.
Although people believe he is leaving China based on the new regulations placed on foreign players which does not favour players from outside China.
