Ofoedu makes draw debut for Maccabi Tel Aviv

Former Enugu Rangers striker Chikeluba Ofoedu made his debut for Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday, in their 2-2 Europa League Qualification match against Radnicki Nis.

The result ensured that Maccabi sealed it place in the next round 4-2 on aggregate.
Wearing jersey no.10, the striker replaced Vidar Oern Kjartansson but was unable to score for Vladimir Ivic’s men.
An own goal from Radovan Pankov and a well crafted effort on the part of Eliran Atar ensured that the away side raced to a 2-0 lead.
Striker Aleksandar Stanisavljevic bagged a brace as the hosts levelled up matters at the Stadion Cair.
Ofoedu left Eskişehirspor on a free transfer, having netted 19 in 59 league appearances for the club in Turkey.
Maccabi Tel Aviv continue their Europa League campaign with a third round tie with Pyunik.
First leg will take place on Wednesday 8th August.
