North East United of India striker, Bartholomew Ogbeche is in cloud nine, after taking his haul of goals since arriving the club to four from three matches, footballlive.ng reports.
The well-traveled former Paris Saint-Germain star roared back into the headlines with a hat-trick under ten minutes in his club’s Indian Super League 4-3 spanking of Chennaiyin.
The 34-year-old former Super Eagles striker waited until his side went 2-0 down at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium with Rowllin Borges scoring an own goal in the fourth minute and Thoi Singh before Ogbeche then reduced the deficit in the in the 29th minute.
Chennaiyin’s Singh, however, then his name on the cards in the 32nd minute and Ogbeche made it 3-2 in the 37th minute before netting the equalizer on 39 minutes.
Borges redeemed himself by scoring the winning goal for North East United in the 54th minute but Ogbeche struck again to help North East sit top of the league table with seven points from three games.
