Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel midfielder, John Ugochukwu Ogu has declared that he and his colleagues in the Super Eagles are already targeting another victory against Libya in Tuesday’s second leg of their Africa Cup of Nations double-qualifiers.
Following a 4-0 spanking of the Mediterranean Knights on Saturday in Uyo, Ogu says the Eagles are not ready to relax just yet, as footballllive.ng learnt he wants them to wrap up home-and-away wins against the Libyans.
While extending words of appreciation to all Nigerian fans for standing by the eagles and rooting for them all the way at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday, Ogu said the next mission is to return from Sfax, Tunisia with victory.
Ogu took to social media top reveal his thoughts about both matches, and stressed that only three points are on his mind and those of his Nigerian teammates on Tuesday.
Ogu stated through his Twitter handle, @ogujohnugo: “Thank you to everyone for the compliment. I really do Appreciate.
“For me the team comes first and am happy to be part of it. We go again on Tuesday for that 3points.”
