Udinese of Italy January loan arrival, Stefano Chuka Okaka has been exonerated from any defects that have caused the Serie A club continued woes in the season.
Despite Udinese opting to sign the Nigerian-born form Italy international to help them rain goals and save them from relegation, things have not gone according to plan, but Okaka’s brother and agent, Carlo says his sibling is not to blame.
Instead, footballlive.ng gathered that Carlo Okaka is pilling all blame or Udinese’s woes on ill fortune and a spate of injuries, which he says have curtailed his brother’s efforts at trying to salvage the situation for the Udine-based side.
The player’s agent added: “He came to Udinese for two reasons. Firstly, he wanted to show what he can do, but also depending on how the next few months go, he’ll decide what to do next.
“Stefano knew the situation that Udinese were in when he arrived and that their current position does not reflect their capabilities.
“There have also been some injury problems, but with the new signings in the January transfer window, I feel there will be improvements to the results.
“Stefano is getting closer to top form and Udinese can fight it out with anyone, as the mood in the locker room is confident. The fans aren’t happy, but need to be a little patient.”
