Watford’s Nigerian-born striker, Stefano Chuka Okoka is bound to leave Isaac Success at The Hornets, as the Italy international has received January transfer interest from Fulham.
Footballlive.ng reports that The Cottagers have a new coach, Claudio Ranieri in charge, and the wily Italian gaffer wants to have his country’s former national team star at his side.
Ranieri also had Nigerian flavour with him during his days with Chidozie Awaziem at FC Nantes of France, which may now continue with Okaka back in England.
Okaka recently came back from an injury and, though he is nowhere near being first choice at The Hornets, Ranieri sees the striker as a player to help Fulham avoid relegation.
Troy Deeney, Andre Gray and Success are preferred in attacking options by Watford manager, Javi Gracia, leaving the 29-year-old Okaka open for a move to Fulham on loan in January.
