Ola Aina claims win against Bassey and Iwobi

In an electrifying premier league clash at the City Ground, Nottingham Forest secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Fulham, showcasing their attacking prowess and determination to claim all three points, in a bid to remain in the English top flight.

 

The match kicked off with an early goal from Fulham, as Callum Hudson-Odoi found the back of the net in the 9th minute, capitalizing on an assist from Morgan Gibbs-White to give the visitors the lead and delight the home crowd.

Nottingham Forest swiftly added another, with Chris Wood doubling their advantage in the 19th minute. Wood converted a well-executed assist from Murillo to put Nottingham Forest firmly in control of the match.

 

Nottingham Forest continued to assert their dominance, extending their lead just before halftime. Morgan Gibbs-White got on the scoresheet in the 45th minute, capitalizing on an assist from Danilo to give Nottingham Forest a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the break.

 

Despite the deficit, Fulham refused to concede defeat and pulled one back early in the second half. Tosin Adarabioyo found the back of the net in the 49th minute, converting an assist from Andreas Pereira to give Fulham a glimmer of hope.

However, Nottingham Forest’s defense held firm for the remainder of the match, denying Fulham any further opportunities to mount a comeback.

 

Despite the scoreline, Calvin Bassey put in a shift with 3 clearances, 4 tackles and blocked 1 shot. Alex Iwobi only lasted 33 minutes and barely had time to impact the game before being taken out.

Ola Aina had a display featured for 83 minutes, he had 5 clearances and made 1 tackle. The Nigerian also 7 of his attempted 9 ground duels in his defensive shift as his side claimed all three points to move above the relegation line.
