Hull City defender, Ola Aina has been included in the roll call of nominees for the club’s best goal of the month, following his first senior bull’s eye in action for The Tigers against Blackburn Rovers.
Aina, who is on loan from Chelsea, hit target against Blackburn in the third round of the FA Cup on January 6, and his effort has now been nominated along with strikes from Bowen and Dicko, which both came against Nottingham Forest.
In the 58th minute of the contest, Aina netted the winner for the Tigers when he met Jon Toral’s right-wing corner with a downward header which ended up in the back of the net.
As at the time of this report, the Super Eagles defender ranked third in the Twitter poll with 17 percent of the votes.
This season, Aina has made 28 appearances for Hull City in the EFL Championship, averaging 2.6 tackles and 2.3 interceptions per game.
The former England U19 skipper has two assists to his name and has a pass success percentage of 75.
