Ola Aina May Have To Return To Chelsea – Survey

Date:

AS Torino in-form defender, Ola Aina may not find it straight forwarded in his desire to seal a full contract with the Italian Serie A side, as a fresh survey has revealed that he will be recalled by his parent club, Chelsea.

Although recent reports stated the possibility of an agreement between The Blues and Torino, on account of a 10m euros deal to make Aina’s stay permanent in Turin, a fresh angle to the story is stating otherwise.

Footballive.ng gathered that the new angle, though, comes on account of the recent tansfer ban on Chelsea by world soccer governing body, which an expert says means the London club may need to recall Aina to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The verdict from George Perry is that, while Aina would be a great pick-up for the Serie A side, Chelsea must make sure they have a long-term plan before letting him go.

Perry stated at lenght: “Aina has played in all but three games this season for Torino.
“He has low-key been one of the loan army’s success stories of the season.
“Despite playing most his time at Chelsea and his 2017/18 loan at Hull City on the right, he has been Torino’s starting left wing-back since opening day.
“Aina has done more than enough to warrant Torino executing his £10 million option to buy.
“The Italian side need a line of succession for the wing-backs, and Aina can cover either side as necessary.”
