Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina has reacted to critical comments trailing his performance against Libya with a promise to keep working hard in order to get better, footballlive.ng reports.
Many Nigerian football fans and pundits held Aina accountable for both goals scored by Libya in Tuesday’s 3-2 victory of the Eagles in Sfax, Tunisia, and the player on loan from Chelsea of England says he is ready to keep working on his game.
Aina said: “I am happy with my chance to play for the Super Eagles. I am happy that the team is winning, but I know it does not end there.
“I have to justify my position in the national team and be able to do well whenever I am called upon to play.
“That’s why I want to work, work, work. I will keep working every time, in order to improve and do better for the team.”
